The Misericordia University women's tennis team clinched a Freedom Conference Tournament berth with an 8-1 win at Eastern, Saturday.

Cassie Foy, Breanne Phillips and Rachel Bossler were double-winners for the Cougars.

Emily Boro and Brittany Bressler all added singles wins.

Phillips won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles and teamed with Emily Gherghel for an 8-3 win at second doubles.

Bressler won 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles and joined Emily Hullings for an 8-3 win at third doubles.

Cassie Foy won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles and Brittany Bressler won 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles.

Foy and Michelle Cameron won 8-3 at first doubles.
