The Misericordia University women's tennis season came to an end with a 5-0 loss at Wilkes in the Freedom Conference championship match, Saturday.
After sweeping the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead, Wilkes won 6-0, 6-1 at second and third singles to clinch the victory.
Misericordia finished as Freedom runner-up for the fifth straight season. The Cougars were 15-9 under rookie head coach
Justin Muthler.
