The Misericordia University women's volleyball team opened the Freedom Conference season with a 3-0 (30-28, 25-13, 25-19) sweep of Manhattanville, Wednesday night at the Anderson Center.

Shelby Brochetti led the attack with 12 kills while Nicole Korgeski and Kate Stuessy had eight and seven kills, respectively.

Nicole Tagerty had 25 assists and two aces while Kellyn Swanson and Meghan Stack added six and kills each.

Lexi Giannone had two aces and nine digs and Ashley Anderson added two aces.

Misericordia will host Catholic and Rutgers-Camden in a tri-match, Saturday.
