The Misericordia University volleyball team handed head coach Shayne McGrady his first career collegiate win in a split of a tri-match at Cedar Crest, Monday.
The Cougars swept Cedar Crest, 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-7) before being swept by Vassar, 3-0 (25-11, 25-21, 25-13).
Against Cedar Crest,
Kellyn Swanson led MU with nine kills while
Shelby Brochetti and
Meghan Stack added six kills each.
Megan Curry had 12 assists and
Nicole Tagerty had two aces.
Stack led the MU attack with 13 kills against Vassar while Brochetti had four kills and eight digs.
Curry had 15 assists and nine digs.
MU will host Immaculata in their home opener, Wednesday.
