Box Score The Misericordia University women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, 1-0, at Elizabethtown, Wednesday.

The Cougars controlled much of the play and had a 21-7 advantage in shots, including Alyssa Mocion's potential game-tying shot that caromed off the goal post with just over five minutes to play.

The Blue Jays made the most of the their best opportunity off a counter attack when Deanna Slater dribbled down the middle of the field and found Kacey Ceranowski who placed a shot into the upper right corner for a 1-0 lead in the 64' minute.

Maureen Ciccosanti made three saves in goal for MU while Dana Robidoux had nine saves for E-Town.

Misericordia, 6-1-1, will host Arcadia, Saturday at 5:00.
