Wiacek scored his first goal of the season when he headed home
Kevin Matlon's free kick at 87:40.

Christopher Edkins and
Derek Antonini added goals for the Cougars who improved to 9-5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Freedom.

Edkins gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead when
Barry Kabinoff's cross got past the Manhattanville goalkeeper and Edkins tapped it into an empty net for his first goal of the season at 19:38.

The Valiantas tied it 10 minutes later and the score stood until midway through the second half .

After MU's
Barry Fitzgerald stopped a penalty kick attempt at 67:21, Manhattanville took a 2-1 lead at 70:57.

Antonini tied it less than a minute later when he one-timed a feed from
Nick vonEgypt from the top of box at 71:41.

The Cougars appeared headed for their second consecutive overtime contest when Matlon and Wiacek connected on the game-winner.

Misericordia held a 14-8 advantage in shots and had 13-3 edge in corners.

For the moment, the Cougars are in sole possession of second place in the Freedom with Wilkes (2-1) set to play at King's (2-1), Saturday night.
