The Cougars lost the opener to Messiah, 3-1 (25-21, 16-25, 19-25, 19-25), and fell to Messiah, 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-17).

Shelby Brochetti had 10 kills against Messiah while Meghan Stack added seven and Kellyn Swanson had six.

Nicole Tagerty had 23 assists.

Stack had seven kills, 11 digs and two aces against Lycoming and Paige Shaughnessy had six kills.

Misericordia, 11-12, will return to Freedom Conference action when they host FDU-Florham, Tuesday.
