The Misericordia University men's tennis team improved to 3-0 in the fall season with a 7-2 win over Alvernia, Tuesday.

Tony Goodall, Eric Correll, Max Kaes and Nicholas Hendry were all double-winners for the Cougars.

Goodall won 6-3, 6-3 at third singles and teamed with Corey Dulsky for a 9-8 (7-3) win at first doubles while Correll won 6-4, 6-2 at fourth singles and joined Kaes for an 8-1 win at third doubles.

Hendry won 6-2, 6-2 at sixth singles and teamed Christian Pugliese for an 8-5 win at second doubles.

Kaes added a match-clinching 7-5, 6-1 win at fifth singles.

Misericordia will compete at the MAC Championships, Saturday at Kirby Park.
