The Misericordia University women's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 decision at King's in their Freedom Conference opener, Tuesday.
Kiana Gough was a double-winner for the Cougars with a 6-0, 6-3 win at sixth singles and an 8-2 win with
Carly Young at third doubles.
Nellie Chmil won 6-3, 6-2 at fifth singles.
Cassie Foy and
Breanne Phillips won 8-5 at first doubles.
Megan Meyers and
Bridget Boyle lost a 9-8 (7-5) tiebreaker at second doubles and Phillips lost 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) at number two singles.
