The Misericordia University tennis team clinched a berth in the Freedom Conference Tournament with a 7-2 win over Eastern, Monday.

Megan Meyers, Bridget Boyle and Kiana Gough were all double-winners for the Cougars.

After teaming for a win at second doubles, Meyers won at third singles while Boyle won at fourth singles.

Gough won at sixth singles and teamed with Carly Young to win at third doubles.

Breanne Phillips and Nellie Chmil added wins at second and fifth singles, respectively.
