Box Score 2 The Misericordia University volleyball team split a pair of five-set matches at the Lycoming Tournament, Saturday.
The Cougars beat Lycoming, 3-2 (25-12, 20-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-7) and fell to Montclair, 3-2 (25-22, 24-26, 25-12, 15-25, 10-25).
In the opener,
Shelby Brochetti had 19 kills and three aces and
Meghan Stack added 11 kills and 16 digs.
Nicole Tagerty had 47 assists and three aces and
Ariana Gagliardi added five aces.
Against Montclair, Stack had 11 kills and 18 digs and Brochetti had six kills.
Tagerty had 31 assists while
Kellyn Swanson had three blocks and
Lexi Giannone added 24 receptions, 13 digs and three aces.
The Cougars, 10-10, will open Freedom Conference play at Manhattanville, Wednesday.
