The Misericordia field hockey team got the shutout in a 3-0 victory over Manhattanville, Saturday.
Lindsay Hischak led the attack for the Cougars with a goal and an assist.
Melanie Fry and
Kailey Vogl each scored once with
Colby Eldridge and
Jennifer O'Neill providing an assist apiece.
The first goal came in the 11th minute when Hischak shot the ball through the goalie's legs and Vogl finished into the empty net.
Four minutes later O'Neill and Hischak had a 2 on 1 with O'Neill playing it to Hischak who played it passed the keeper to put the Cougars up 2-0.
The final goal came with a little over a minute remaining in the game when
Melanie Fry scored off a corner played in by Eldridge.
The Cougars won the corner battle 15-4 and took 21 shots with 14 on goal.
Misericordia move to 1-2 in the MAC Freedom and will play at Cedar Crest, Tuesday at 4:00.
