Christian Pugliese earned a three-set win at second singles to clinch a 5-4 win for the Misericordia University men's tennis team at Alvernia.

Pugliese rallied for a 3-6, 7-5, 7-5 win while Corey Dulsky (6-3, 6-1) and Tony Goodall (6-4, 6-2) added wins at first and third singles, respectively, and teamed for an 8-4 win at first doubles.

Pugliese and Nick Hendry won 8-6 at second doubles.

The Cougars will compete at the MAC Championships this weekend at Kirby Park.
