The Misericordia University volleyball team closed out its MAC Freedom schedule with a 3-0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-17) loss at Eastern, Wednesday.

Paige Shaughnessy led the Cougars with six kills while Meghan Stack added five.

Nicole Tagerty had 13 assists and 10 digs.

Stack added nine digs and two aces and Ariana Gagliardi and Kaitlin Wheeler both had seven digs.

MU will travel to Muhlenberg for a tri-match with Cabrini, Saturday, and will return to Eastern for the opening round of the MAC Freedom championships, Wednesday.
