The Misericordia University women's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw at Gettysburg, Wednesday evening.

Alex Gallagher scored late in the second half off an assist from Kylen Smith.

Maureen Ciccosanti and Alyssa Pojero combined for six saves.

Ciccosanti made a diving save to her right on a blast from 15 yards out in the ninth minute, but the Bullets scored on a rebound just 90 seconds later.

Misericordia tied it in the 68^th minute when Smith played a long cross that caromed off the post and Gallagher chipped it in from the right post.

Kristen Ritter's rebound shot was wide right less than two minutes into the first OT and Gallagher's shot hit the post with under nine minutes to play in the second overtime.

Pojero made four stops over the final 65 minutes.

Misericordia, 9-2-1, returns to MAC Freedom play at Eastern, Saturday.
