The Misericordia University men's basketball team lost 108-97 to Arcadia, Sunday afternoon.
Jason Kenny led the way for the Cougars with 21 points while shooting 4-6 from deep.
D.J. Marlow added 18 points and five assists.
MU went into the half down 49-41, but shot 13-16 in the first half to help keep them in the game.
Early in the second half, Marlow made a foulshot to give the Cougars a 55-54 lead with 16:44 remaining but Arcadia went on a 23-13 run over the next eight minutes to push their lead back up to 79-68.
MU responded with a 13-6 run of their own that was capped off with a
Tyler McGarry three pointer that got them within two at 85-83 with 6:12 remaining, but Arcadia pushed ahead with MU never getting closer than four the rest of the way.
Griffin Sponaugle led the team in assists with six while Erick Kerns led the team in rebounds with nine.
Misericordia got more production from their bench, outscoring Arcadia's 31-7.
MU is 3-4 on the year and heads to FDU-Florham, Wednesday at 8 p.m. for their first MAC Freedom game of the season.
