Box Score The Misericordia University women's basketball team ended the season with a 76-55 loss to Manhattanville on Senior Appreciation Day, Saturday afternoon in the Anderson Center.

Amanda Greene,
Sam Baro and
Shelby Brochetti closed out their careers for the Cougars.
Brochetti led the team with 16 points and Smicherko added 12.
With all four seniors in the starting line-up, the Cougars raced out to a 17-6 lead.
Baro, Seely and Brochetti scored MU's first three baskets and Brochetti followed with a three-point play off a fast break feed from Greene for a 9-2 lead just two minutes into the game.
Jaclyn Hajec was part of a personal 8-0 run for the Cougars.
She drove and dished to Seely for a layup and followed with a layup of her own for a 13-6 lead less than five minutes into the game.
Hajec found Smicherko underneath and then hit a jumper in lane to put MU ahead, 17-6, with 12:14 to play in the first half.
Greene found Brochetti in the lane and then added a putback to keep the Cougars up, 21-15, with 9:05 to go.
After Manhattanville rallied to take a four-point lead, Brochetti drilled a three from left win to pull MU within a point, 29-28, with less than four minutes remaining.
The Valiants closed the half on a 12-4 run to take a 41-32 halftime advantage.
Manhattanville picked up where they left off to open the second half and built a 55-34 lead six minutes into the second half.
