Lane Kocovsky and Pate Kellish combined for nine goals to lead the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team to an 18-5 win at Delaware Valley, Saturday.
Kocovsky had five goals and two assists and Kellish added four goals and three assists.
Andrew Reynolds had three goals and an assist and won 15 of 18 face-offs.
Chris Fleming added two goals and an assist for the Cougars.
Pat Johnson made nine saves to earn the win in goal.
Reynolds gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead at 8:54 of the opening quarter.
After Del Val tied it, Kellish struck twice in a 12-second span for a 3-1 lead with 4:36 to play in the first period.
Eric Dittmeier, Kocovsky and Reynolds scored early in the second quarter to stretch the lead to 6-1.
Delaware scored early in the third quarter to pull within 6-3, but Kocovsky and Fleming combined for three goals to put MU ahead 9-3 with 6:07 left in the third.
The Cougars put the game away with a 6-0 run over the final 12:37 of the fourth quarter.
MU improved to 6-5 overall and 1-1 in the Freedom and will travel to DeSales, Wednesday.
