The Misericordia University women's tennis team swept Eastern, 9-0, Thursday.

Carly Young, Kiana Gough, Linsey Parks and Amberlynn Habich were all double winners for the Cougars.

Nellie Chmil and Brittany Bressler added singles wins while Megan Meyers and Bridget Boyle teamed for a doubles win.

Young won 6-3, 6-3 at first singles and Gough won 6-2, 6-1 at number two.

Chmil won 6-0, 6-1 at number three and Parks won 6-1, 6-0 at fourth singles.

Bressler won 6-0, 6-1 at fifth singles and Habich won 6-1, 6-0 at number six.

Meyers and Boyle won 8-4 at first doubles and Young and Gough won 8-1 at number two.  Parks and Habich won 8-0 at number three.
