Box Score The Misericordia University women's volleyball team swept Delaware Valley, 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-12), Wednesday night at the Anderson Center.
Megan Collins led the Cougars with nine kills and two aces while
Coleby Charlier had four kills.
Nicole Tagerty had 14 assists and three aces.
Paige Shaughnessy and
Kaitlin Wheeler had two aces each.
Leading 11-8 in the first set, Charlier had two kills as the Cougars scored seven straight points to take an 18-8 lead.
Stack and
Michelle Sehested both had aces to make it 24-13 and Shaugnessy's kill inside the back line sealed the set.
Wheeler had two aces as the Cougars raced out to a big lead in the second set.
Maggie Martin added an ace to make it 24-11 and Tagerty ended the set with a cross-court kill inside the left corner.
Leading 11-10 in the finale, Stack had three kills to ignite an 8-1 run for a 19-11 lead.
Collins and Stack both had kills down the middle for MU's final points.
Misericordia is 2-0 in the MAC Freedom.
The Cougars will face Wilkes and CCNY at Lycoming, Friday.
