The Misericordia volleyball team split a pair of matches to close out their season on Senior Day, Saturday.

MU took down Kean, 3-1 (21-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-23) before they lost to Wells, 3-2 (23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-14, 15-9).

Tara Welliver had a huge first game, notching 17 kills and three aces. Michelle Sehested added nine kills and two aces. Megan Collins had eight kills, a solo block and two block assists. Nicole Tagerty had 38 assists, two aces and 16 digs.

Against Wells, Paige Shaughnessy and Sehested had 12 kills apiece while Shaughnessy added three aces and 18 digs. Collins and Welliver added 11 kills each. Collins added a block solo and a block assist. Tagerty had 34 assists, four aces and 22 digs.

Misericordia ends the year at 9-22.
