Led by four triple-winners, the Misericordia University women's swim team opened the season with a 117-86 win at Marywood, Saturday.
Morgan Hanadel,
Clare Winton,
Kaitlyn Weatherby and
Grace Nikolski all won three times for the Cougars.
Hanadel won the 50 free (25.85) and 100 free (56.30) and was part of the 200 medley relay team (1:55.33).
Winton won the 500 free (5:48.03) and 1000 free (11:54.91) and was part of the 200 free relay team (1:50.39).
Weatherby took the 100 fly (1:03.57) and 200 free (2:05.13) and was on the 200 medley relay.
Nikolski won the 100 breaststroke (1:09.07) and 200 IM (2:18.24) and was on the 200 medley relay.
Kelsey Lyter,
Kayleigh Elser and
Veronica Venit rounded out the 200 free relay and
Sierra Schertler was on the 200 medley relay.
The Cougars will visit Widener, Saturday.
