The Misericordia University women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, 69-54, at Lycoming, Tuesday night.
Justine Seely recorded her third consecutive double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds and added six blocks to lead the Cougars while
Liz Waleski added 10 points.
Jaclyn Hajec and
Japriya Carroll both had nine points for MU.
Lycoming closed the first period on a 13-5 run to take a 26-13 lead and used a big second quarter to take a 47-23 halftime lead.
After playing even in the third quarter, the Cougars chipped away at the lead in the fourth quarter
Misericordia, 3-1, will travel to Lebanon Valley, Saturday.
