The Misericordia University baseball team won its fourth straight game, 7-3, Tuesday afternoon at Wesley.

Alec Iurato had two hits and two RBI and while
Chris Boroch and
Miles Westrich both had two hits and drove in a run.

Tim Burek scattered eight hits over 5.2 innings to earn the win.

The Cougars broke open a scoreless game with three runs in the top of the fifth.

Boroch led off with a single to center, stole second and moved to third on a sacrifice.Â
Kyle Lindsay was hit by a pitch and Iurato singled to center to make it 1-0. After
D.J. Navoczynski reached on a fielder's choice, two runs scored when Comerford reached on an error.

Wesley got a run back in the bottom of the inning, but MU got three more in the sixth.

Westrich singled to right to lead off the inning and moved up on a sac bunt. Westrich stole third and scored on Boroch's single to left. Boroch stole second, moved to third on a fly out and scored on Lindsay's bunt single. Lindsay swiped second and scored on Iurato's single to center.

Leading 6-3, Comerford drew a one-out walk in the seventh and stole second. He moved up a ground out and scored on a single to center by Westrich.

MU will host DeSales in their MAC Freedom opener, Friday.
