The Misericordia University women's tennis team clinched the second-seed in the MAC Freedom championships with a 5-4 win over Eastern, Saturday.

Amberlynn Habich and Linsey Parks were double-winners and Taylor Daton picked up her first win of the season.

Habich won 6-3, 6-0 at sixth singles and teamed with Parks for an 8-3 win at third doubles.

Parks won 6-2, 6-0 at fourth singles and Daton won 6-2, 6-2 at number five.

Carly Young and Nellie Chmil added an 8-3 win at first doubles.

MU will host Eastern in the MAC Freedom semifinals, Tuesday.
