MU ramped up the pressure in the second half, creating multiple opportunities to score.

Four minutes into the second half, MU drew a penalty corner that ended with Melanie Fry lifting a ball over the defense but the keeper pushed it wide.

With 22 minutes to go in the game Colby Eldridge ripped a shot from the side of crease towards the far post but it went just wide of goal.

Seconds later Nicole Paranich got the ball, carried it past two defenders before she sent it across the goalmouth. Kailey Vogl redirected the ball towards goal but the Scranton keeper got a toe on it to knock it away.

With a little under six minutes in the game, Scranton scored again to close the scoring at 2-0.
