Trey Ziegler and Malaquias standing over the ball, Malaquias stepped up and smashed the ball into the net so hard the Lycoming goalkeeper barely had time to turn his head.

The Warriors were looking dangerous early in the second half, getting off three shots in the opening 10 minutes. In the 62
nd minute they scored off a header to tie it up at 1-1.
In the 77
th minute a Lycoming forward got to a ball inside the six yard box and was about to shoot but
Niko Amity poked the ball away at the last second.
Matt Smith fell on the ball to quell the danger.
Regulation ended with the teams tied at 1-1, so it was on to OT.
The Warriors got the first two shots of the first overtime, but MU created the best opportunity in the dying seconds of the extra period.
With about 15 seconds on the clock,
Ethan Aigeldinger sprinted over to the right corner flag and quickly played the ball into the box. Marriott came streaking into the box and headed the ball towards goal, but it went over the net. There were 10 minutes left to find a winner, but Misericordia only needed two minutes and two seconds.
A loose ball was rolling back towards the Lycoming 18 and the goalkeeper came to get it. Norcini came rampaging in and the keeper quickly played the ball out of bounds. Norcini was quickly rewarded for his hustle.
Marriott launched the ball into the middle, Edkins rose above the crowd and flicked the ball to the back post where Norcini tapped it past the keeper to give MU a 2-1 win.
Smith made three saves in goal for the Cougars.Â
