The Misericordia field hockey team lost to seventh ranked Salisbury, 5-0, Saturday afternoon at McGeehan field.
Katelyn Campbell made nine saves in goal for MU.
Both of the Cougars best opportunities to score came from corners in the second half.
On the first one,
Colby Eldridge received a pass on the left side and ripped a shot towards goal that the goalie parried.
With three minutes to go in the game,
Melanie Fry passed the ball to
Suzhaunna Lerch who blasted the ball towards goal but the goalie saved it.
Salisbury scored in the ninth minute and then again eight minutes before halftime to put them up 2-0 at half.
The Seagulls scored three goals in an eight minute span in the second half to push their lead to 5-0.
The Cougars will play Johnson and Wales, tomorrow at 12:00.
