Box Score Kylen Smith scored early in the second overtime to lift the Misericordia University women's soccer team to a 1-0 win at Penn State Berks in a battle between veteran NCAA Tournament teams, Sunday.

Smith gathered a loose ball near the top of the box and caromed a shot off the post for the game-winner.

After PSU-Berks held a 4-3 advantage in shots in the first half, the MU defense limited the Lions to just one shot the rest of the way.

Misericordia had seven shots in the second half, three in the first OT and scored on their first shot of the second overtime.

Alyssa Pojero made three saves in goal to earn the shutout.

Misericordia will host Susquehanna, Wednesday at 6:00.
