The Misericordia University field hockey team ended the regular with their seventh straight win, 2-0, over Marywood on Senior Appreciation Day, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.

Colby Eldridge and
Michaela Halesey fueled the Cougars offense by each scoring a goal.

Katelyn Campbell made five saves and
Monica Mahon recorded her first collegiate save.

The Cougars got on the board first when Halesey notched her second goal of the season off a rebound just over 10 minutes into the contest.

Moments later, the Cougars nearly doubled their lead when senior
Trinity Sprague's first shot of the season was saved by a Marywood defender.

Eldridge scored her 11
th goal of the season when her shot attempt deflected off a defender and found the back of the cage to make the score 2-0 with 29:58 left in the game.

MU will host Wilkes in the MAC Freedom semifinals, Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Mangelsdorf Field.
