Jason Kenny scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Misericordia University men's basketball team to a hard-fought 80-75 overtime win over King's, Wednesday night in the Anderson Center.
Tony Harding added 13 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots, including one on a potential game-winning shot at the end of regulation.
Griffin Sponaugle had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Cougars, who improved to 15-7 overall and moved into sole possession of fourth place in the MAC Freedom.Â
Alec Rodway had eight points and five assists for Misericordia.
Harding made a free throw with 2:12 left in OT to give MU a 74-73 lead.
Tre Fields made it 76-73 when he finished a lob pass from Kenny on an inbounds pass with 1:16 to play.
Fields sealed the win with a pair of free throws with four seconds to play and the teams traded two foul shots in the final second.
Kenny opened the second half with a long three-pointer from the top of the key and Rodway a three from the right corner on a nice pass from Harding to give MU a 39-34 lead early in the second half.

Noah Rivera driving the lane and Fields hit a deep three-pointer from the right wing to give MU its biggest lead of the night, 44-34, less than three minutes into the second half.
The Monarchs used a 12-4 run to get within 48-46 with 13:16 to go and then scored eight straight points to take a 56-53 lead with 8:45 remaining in regulation.
Trailing 60-55, Harding drained a three-pointer from the top of the key and Sponaugle juked a defender in the lane to pull even with 5:53 to play.
After a three-pointer gave King's a 64-62 lead, Sponaugle kept a rebound alive with a behind-the-back pass to Fields who found
Stone McCreary underneath for the tying layup with 3:25 to go.
The teams on two three-pointers each on the next four possessions with McCreary hitting from the left corner to tie the game, 70-70, with 1:38 left.
King's went ahead on two free throws and Kenny tied it at 72-72 with two of his own and Harding blocked the Monarchs' potential game-winner at the end of regulation.
King's jumped out to a quick 10-4 lead and took its largest lead of the night, 14-7, with 11:52 left in the first half.
Kenny, McCreary and Rivera scored three straight layups to pull within 14-13 with 10:02 remaining.
James Hawk's reverse layup pulled the Cougars even, 23-23, and started an 8-0 run.
Kenny stole the inbounds pass and gave the Cougars their first lead with a layup and added a free throw and a pull-up three-pointer from the right wing for a 29-23 lead with 2:35 to play.
Hawk scored down low on a lob pass from Sponaugle to make it 31-25, but King's hit two free throws in the final 1:24 and MU led 33-31 after 20 minutes.
Misericordia will host Wilkes in their home finale with a chance to clinch a post-season berth, Saturday.
