Lexee Willey had five goals and two assists to lead the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team to a 15-5 win at King's, Wednesday evening.
Liz Mulvey added four goals and an assist and
Kaila Quinlivan had a goal, two assists and five draw controls.
Emily Connell and
Amy Roth both had two goals and Bri Ladner had eight ground balls and three draw controls.
Katie McLoughlin made six saves as the Cougars won their eighth straight game to improve to 9-2 overall and 4-0 in the MAC Freedom.
Roth and Quinlivan scored less than a minute apart as the Cougars grabbed a quick 2-0 lead. Willey scored three of the next four goals as MU stretched the lead to 6-0 midway through the first half.
Roth added another goal to make it 7-0 before King's got on the board late in the half, but Connell scored in the final minute to put the Cougars up 8-1 at intermission.
Mulvey scored in the opening minute of the second half and King's never got closer than seven goals the rest of the way.
Misericordia will host FDU-Florham, Saturday at 7:00.
