Curt Jorgensen tossed 7.1 innings before allowing a hit to guide MU past Scranton, 3-1, Monday afternoon at Tambur Field.
Elliot Forde came in and got the final five outs for the save. Jorgensen had three strikeouts.
Steve Weisensee went 3-4 with a stolen base.
Parker Abate went 2-3 with an RBI, two stolen bases and a run scored.
Brett Davis went 1-2 with a walk and an RBI while

Kenny Jarema went 1-4 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored.
A Scranton pinch hitter entered with one out in the eighth and broke up Jorgensen's no-hitter with a hard hit single to right.
Jarema led off the bottom of the first with a double to right center and Weisensee followed that up with an infield single. A double steal put them at second and third before
Tyler Holzapfel hit a ball deep enough to left to score Jarema.
In the top of the third,
Jeremy DeCotiis made a slick diving catch in left to rob the Royals of a hit.
In the top of the fourth, Holzapfel made an excellent diving catch to his right to end the inning and keep the no-hitter alive.
In the bottom of the sixth,
Santo Guinta was hit by a pitch and
Chad Bell bunted him over to second.
Parker Abate singled to left to score Guinta and advanced to second on the throw. Davis ripped a single to center to score Abate and give MU a 3-0 lead.
Forde entered with one batter retired in the eighth. The Royals scored on a double down the right field line, but two batters later a grounder to short ended the inning with the score 3-1 Misericordia.
Forde had a smooth ninth; he got the first batter to fly out to center and the final two batters to ground out to short to end the game.
MU is 23-8 and will play at Keystone, Tuesday at 3:30.
