Olivia Garcia had two goals and six assists to lead the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team to a 17-1 win at DeSales in their regular season finale, Saturday.
Garcia set a new school single-season record with 34 assists.
Emily Connell and
Liz Mulvey both scored three goals and
Kaila Quinlivan added two goals and two assists while
Kate Raab and
Faith Sinclair both had two goals and an assist.
Quinlivan added three draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers while Bri Ladner had four caused turnovers and two ground balls.
Raab scored twice in less than a minute to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead and Mulvey scored two straight goals for a 4-0 lead with 17:00 remaining in the first half.
Amy Roth made it 5-1 and Connell scored twice in a minute for a 7-1 lead with 13:06 to in the half.
Quinlivan scored twice in the final 12:29 of the first half and
Lindsay McKim scored late in the first half as the Cougars took a 15-1 halftime lead.
Katie McLoughlin played the first 30 minutes in goal while
Alli McElheran and
Nicole Giammarino split time in the second half.
Misericordia, 11-3, will host Manhattanville in the MAC Freedom semifinals, Wednesday at 4:00.
