The Misericordia University women's tennis team ended the regular season with a 5-4 loss at Eastern, Saturday.

Erika Slowicki and Taylor Daton were double-winners for the Cougars while Hannah Corbacio added a win in singles play.

Slowicki won 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 at fourth singles while Daton won 6-4, 6-3 at sixth singles.  Slowicki and Daton teamed for an 8-1 win at second doubles.

Hannah Corbacio won 6-1, 6-4 at fifth singles.

Nellie Chmil dropped a hard-fought 6-2, 0-6, 2-6 match at first singles and Linsey Parks dropped a 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 3-6 match at second singles.

The Cougars will play at Wilkes in the MAC Freedom semifinals, Wednesday.
