Senior forward Ashley Edgell was named the United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week for Division III women's soccer, Tuesday.

Edgell tallied nine points on four goals and one assist in two conference victories over Eastern University, 6-0, and Delaware Valley University, 6-0. She currently leads the #12 Cougars with seven goals and ranks second on the squad with 15 points.

Edgell scored two goals 19-seconds apart against Delaware Valley in the 12th minute, Saturday. Her first goal was from 15-yards out off an assist from Jeanna Orfanos while the latter occurred off a tap-in following an Evelyn Logie cross.

The senior forward also garnered MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week.

The Cougars are 11-2-1 overall with a 5-0 MAC Freedom mark. Misericordia will host FDU-Florham in its final home regular season matchup, Saturday at 7:00.
