The Misericordia University men's soccer team dropped a tough 2-0 decision to King's, Saturday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Neither team managed a shot until MU's Dylan Molaneaux's shot from 30 yards out was deflected away in the box at 8:58.

John Caracappa's header from 10 yards out was wide left just over a minute later.

King's managed two headers from the spot in a little over a minute, with Pizzi making a big save near the left post on the second attempt in the 18^th minute.

The Monarchs got on the board at 20:30 and added an insurance goal at 34:26.

The Cougars best chance of the half came when Tristan Wright whipped a shot from eight yards out, but King's keeper Owen Geedey came up with a big stop.

MU's best chance of the second half came in the 54^th minute when Ethan Aigeldinger's shot from the top of the box was deflected and forced Geedey to make a diving save near the right post.

Misericordia will host Eastern, Tuesday at 7:00.
