The Misericordia University women's basketball team will host Mt. St. Mary College in the first round of the ECAC Championships, Wednesday at 7:00 at the Anderson Center.
Seven first-round winners will advance to Friday's quarter-final round at top-seeded Washington & Jefferson. The Misericordia-Mt. St. Mary winner will face the Grove City-Lebanon Valley winner, Friday at 2:00.

The Cougars, 16-10, are making their second consecutive ECAC appearance after advancing to the quarter-finals a year ago.
MU is coming off a hard-fought loss at FDU-Florham in the MAC Freedom semi-finals where they led the top-seeded Devils heading into the fourth quarter.

Japriya Carroll is Misericordia's leading scorer with 11.0 points per game and is shooting 88.6% from the foul line.

Quintessa Zamolyi adds 9.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. She is the team's top three-pointer shooter at 41.7% and is second in free throw percentage at 80.8%.
Junior forward
Rachel Carmody is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 10.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while sophomore forward
Paige Wampole has a team-high 9.1 rpg and is third in scoring with 10.0 ppg.
First year point guard
Kalynn Sefcik averages a team-high 2.1 assists per game.
Mt. St. Mary is 21-6 after falling in the Skyline Conference championship game.
The Knights are led by senior Jessica Rini, a three-time first-team All-Skyline Conference selection, and junior Kayla Cleare, a two-time second-team selection.
Rini leads the team with 13.0 ppg and is second with 7.7 rpg while Cleare is second with 10.7 ppg and has a team-high 8.7 rpg.
