The Misericordia University baseball won its fifth straight game with a 10-4 victory at the University of Scranton, Thursday evening.

Steve Weisensee had two hits and three RBI and
Sean Lyons had three hits and two RBI.Â
Kenny Jarema had two hits and scored three runs as
Ian McCole improved to 7-0 on the mound.

Jarema drew a lead-off walk and with two outs, stole second and third base before coming home on a single to center field by
Santo Guinta.

Jarema was by a pitch to lead off the third inning and stole second and came around on back-to-back ground outs. Guinta drew a two-out walk, stole second and scored on Weisensee's single to right field. Lyons doubled to drive in Weisensee for a 4-0 lead.

The Cougars added a pair of runs in the top of the sixth. Boylan doubled down the left field line and scored on a single up the middle by
Adam Concadoro. Jarema singled through the right side to put runners on the corners. Guinta reached first on a passed ball on third strike and Concadoro came home to give MU a 6-0 lead.

Misericordia added four runs in the top of the eighth. Concadoro walked and moved up on a wild pitch. Jarema singled to drive in a run, stole second and moved to third on a fly out to center. Weisensee doubled in two runs and closed out the scoring when he came home Lyons' double down the right field line.

McCole scattered five hits over six innings and got relief help from
Jake Kurtz and
Kyle Melahn.
