MU Women Fall in ECAC Semi's, Quinlivan Ties School Scoring Record

The Misericordia University women's lacrosse season came to an end with a 17-8 loss to Marywood in the ECAC Semifinals, Saturday at Stockton.

Ashley Hobbs closed out her career with a team-high three goals while Kaila Quinlivan had a goal and an assist to tie the school single-season scoring record with 85 points.

Amy Roth added a goal and an assist and Shae O'Leary had two assists.

Bri Ladner led the Cougars with 12 draw controls.

Quinlivan opened the scoring with an unassisted goal just over three minutes into the game, but the Pacers scored twice in less than a minute to take a 2-1 lead with 19:01 to play in the first half.

Lexee Willey scored on an assist from Quinlivan with 17:41 to go, but the Pacers ended the first half on an 8-0 run to take a 10-2 lead.

Hobbs scored to open the second half, but the Cougars never got any closer.

The Cougars end the season at 12-9.  Marywood avenged a 19-12 loss during the regular season and advanced to the ECAC final against the Stockton/Marymount winner, Sunday at 1:00 at Stockton.
