The Misericordia University women's volleyball team split a pair of matches at the University of Scranton Tournament, Saturday.
After sweeping Pitt-Bradford, 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-19), the Cougars fell to Brockport, 3-1 (20-25, 27-25, 15-25, 20-25).
Tara Welliver had 13 kills and four aces in the opener while
Jassmine Watson and
Amanda Curcio added 13 kills and nine kills, respectively.
Karley May had 46 assists and four aces and
Kaitlin Wheeler added 18 digs.
Against Brockport, Welliver had 11 more kills and
Jessica Oltman added 10.
Sarah Pool had eight kills and two aces and Curcio had four blocks.
May had a team-high 34 assists.
