Box Score The Misericordia University women's soccer team improved to 2-0 with its second consecutive shutout with a 2-0 win over Susquehanna, Tuesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Jordyn Martini had a goal and an assist and
Kendall Pearage scored for the second straight game.

Jeanna Orfanos added an assist and
Alexis Benedetto made two saves in goal.

The Cougars took control of the game with a pair of goals in a four-minute span early in the first half.

Hannah Larkin gave the Cougars their first opportunity of the evening in the third minute, but sent a nice feed from
Kaylee Sturans just over the bar from the top of the box.

MU made the most of their next chance 10 minutes later when Martini served a ball from the right flank and found Pearage charging through the box where she buried a one-timer for a 1-0 lead at 13:22.

Martini made it 2-0 when she took a feed from
Jeanna Orfanos four minutes later and slotted a ball inside the left post.

In between MU goals, Orfanos created a chance when she won a battle for a loose ball inside the box and rolled a shot toward the left post, but was stymied by a diving save by Susquehanna's Madison Welliver.

The Cougars held a 15-4 advantage in shots, including 9-2 on goal, and took the only five corners of the game.
