Nick Ruggiero scored early in the second half and
Dominic Pizzi made it stand up as the Misericordia University men's soccer team picked up its first win of the season with a 1-0 victory at Arcadia, Saturday.
Ruggerio scored the game's only goal less than three minutes into the second half on an assist from
Ethan Benedict.
Pizzi made two saves in goal, including a diving stop on penalty kick with just 1:22 to play.
The Cougars had two shots to open the second half before Ruggerio converted the third shot of the half to give MU the lead.
MU will visit Scranton, Tuesday at 7:00.
