The Misericordia University field hockey team picked up a 2-1 win in double overtime against Susquehanna, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf field.
 Brynn Lansenderfer and Mikayla Cavenas each scored for the Cougars and Kortney McEwen added an assist.
 The Cougars were awarded a penalty stroke following a corner late in the third quarter and Lansenderfer found the back of the cage to tie the score at 1-1 in the third quarter.
 Cavenas scored the game-winner with five minutes to go in the second overtime from 15 yards out off a McEwen pass.
 Misericordia held an 8-5 advantage in shots and held the River Hawks to just two shots on goal. The Cougars also had a 7-3 edge in corners.
 Misericordia, 6-5, will host King's College during Homecoming, Saturday, at 1 p.m. at McGeehan Field.​
