MU Volleyball Sweeps at FDU-Florham

The Misericordia University women's volleyball team improved to 2-1 in the MAC Freedom with a 3-0 sweep at FDU-Florham, Wednesday night.
 
Faith Merritt and Fiona Pyfer both had 11 kills and Karley May had 36 assists, five aces and 11 digs.
 
Tara Welliver had three blocks while May and Jessica Oltman added two each.

Pyfer had a team-high 12 digs and Mikayla Gunkle added nine digs and two aces.

The Cougars won 25-16, 25-20, 25-16 to improve to 14-9 overall.

Misericordia will host Stevens, Tuesday.
