Box Score Madison Majcher scored a pair of goals to lead the Misericordia University women's soccer team to a 5—0 win at King's, Saturday.
Jordyn Martini,
Colleen Kinsella and
Devyn Anderson all added goals for MU while
Lauren Anderson and
Ally Waite had assists.
The Cougars outshot the Monarchs, 24-8, including 13-3 on goal, and had an 8-2 advantage on corners.
Alexis Benedetto made three saves as the Cougars won their fifth straight game to improve to 9-4-2 overall and 5-1 in the MAC Freedom.
Martini gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute when beat the keeper 1-v-1 following a turnover and tapped the ball into the empty net.
Kinsella knocked in her own rebound to make it 2-0 at 40:00.
Devyn Anderson made it 3-0 after collecting a deflection off a defender in the box in the 51
st minute.
Majcher scored her first goal when she slotted a ball inside the right post in the 64
th minute.
She finished the scoring just four minutes later when she played a ball from the right wing inside the left post.
The Cougars will travel to Scranton, Wednesday at 7:00.
