The Misericordia University men's basketball team dropped their final exhibition game of the season at Division I Lehigh University, 87-68, Monday night.

Tony Harding led the Cougars with 18 points and six rebounds while
Noah Rivera was 5-6 from the field and added nine points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots. Â
Matt Marchetti had nine points.

The Cougars led for a majority of the first half, leading for a total of 12:25, before closing the first half tied, 32-32.

Rivera and Noah Kreitzer scored back-to-back layups to begin the game and a free throw and layup from Harding gave the Cougars a 7-4 lead.

Trailing 17-10, the Cougars went on a 19-5 run, including 12 points from Harding and six from Marchetti.

Harding sandwiched a pair of three-pointers around a free throw to pull the Cougars even, 17-17.

Marchetti scored back-to-back buckets to close the run with MU leading 22-17 with 6:27 left in the first half.

Harding and Marchetti scored five points each in the closing minutes of the first half, but the Mountain Hawks fought back to finish the half tied 32-32.

Rivera made two free throws to keep the Cougars with 38-36 early in the second half, but the Mountain Hawks scored eight straight points to take control.

The Cougars will host on Susquehanna University on Saturday at 1:00.
