The Misericordia University women's volleyball team split a tri-match to conclude the regular season, Saturday.
The Cougars beat Brooklyn, 3-1, but lost to host Kean, 3-0.
Tara Welliver had 14 kills against Brooklyn to become just the second player in school history to reached 1,000 career kills.Â
Faith Merritt added 10 and
Jessica Oltman had seven.
Merritt and
Alexa Monro both had four aces and Welliver added three.
Karley May had 44 assists.
Welliver had team-high 10 kills against Kean and Merritt added nine.
May had 23 assists and
Mikayla Gunkle had eight digs.
Misericordia, 20-16, will visit Stevens in the MAC Freedom semifinals, Wednesday.
