The second-seeded Misericordia University women's soccer team will open the 2019 MAC Freedom Tournament when the Cougars host DeSales, Tuesday at 7:00 at Mangelsdorf Field.

The three-time defending MAC Freedom champions, Misericordia is 10-5-2 overall and went 6-1 in the MAC Freedom during the regular season, including a 3-1 win over DeSales, Saturday.

DeSales is seeded third after finishing 13-4-1, including a 4-2-1 mark in the MAC Freedom.Â

Top-seeded Stevens will host fourth-seeded Wilkes in the other semifinal, Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Admission for MAC Freedom championships is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $2 for students. Children under six-years-old are admitted free. Pets are prohibited at Misericordia University athletics facilities.

Kendall Pearage (5g, 3a) leads MU with 13 points while
Maegan Allspach (6g) adds 12 points.

Devyn Anderson (4g, 1a) are next with 11 and nine points, respectively, while
Kaylee Sturans has a team-high six assists.
