Down 2-1, MU scored six runs in the sixth inning to go ahead.

Kyle Rogalski struck out five in 3.2 innings of relief while Kyle Melahn earned his third save of the year and tied the all-time school record at 11.

Stevens took a 2-0 lead in the second, but the Cougars got one back in the top of the third.  Jarema doubled down the left field line with one out and Steve Weisensee, Holzapfel and Santo Guinta drew consecutive two-out walks to get within 2-1.

Guinta led off the sixth inning with a walk and went to third on Dalton Emerich's double.  Billy Kerwein tied the game with an RBI-ground out and MU went ahead when Conor Smith reached on an error.

Jarema hit a two-run homer to right field to give the Cougars a 5-2 lead.

Parker Abate started a two-out rally with a single up the middle, stole second and went to third on Weisensee's single through the left side.

Holzapfel closed out the scoring for MU with a two-run single up the middle.

Rogalski came on in the third inning and allowed three hits over 3.2 innings to pick up the win.
